Temple Installation

Using the Artisan installation format, the piece was customized for TEMPLE, in San Diego, hosted by artist Danny Barragan. Along with the lighting sequence, a MEMS microphone is connected to the microcontroller to pick up sounds during event gatherings, which enables the sign to become responsive to audio cadence and music.

Artist Biography

Ben Faubion has 20+ years in the interactive, agency, and digital product space for startups and Fortune 500 companies. He’s based in North San Diego county, and works with clients throughout the United States. His current work covers Art Direction for websites, apps, and advertising collateral, as well as interactive installations for venues and retails spaces. His work as an artist includes mixed-media with welding, electronics, illustration, and paint medium.
