Pneuma

Pneuma is an interactive light installation exploring the movement and presence of God's spirit through light, rhythm, and perception. Eight laser-cut panels are mounted within a welded steel framework, each illuminated by programmable LEDs that produce organic, breathing patterns across the installation. A microcontroller drives the lighting system, creating continuously shifting patterns through cool, warm, and mixed color palettes. Visitors can connect directly to the installation through its embedded web server with their phones, allowing them to alter the animation, color, and responsiveness of the piece - including a mode that responds to sound within the surrounding environment.
